Knitted Stools, a design from the GAN accessory line

The objects and small furniture that make up our accessories collection are a selection of unique pieces that speak a different and novel aesthetic language. Trays, tables, poufs, armchairs and stools that add personality to any space and act as the perfect complement to GAN rugs.

Claire Anne O'Brien, designer of the Knitted Stools

Claire Anne O'Brien is a textile designer of Irish origin established in London. She trained in textile design at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, where she graduated in 2010. After participating in a UNESCO program in the Himalayas, developing textiles with local resources and skills that provide sustainable income for the community, she returned to London and founded her own studio in 2011. She specializes in sculptural and three-dimensional fabrics for interiors. Her proposals are inspired by traditional manufacturing techniques such as knitting, knotting and basketry. In addition to developing custom-made fabrics, she also produces knitted furniture, among which we encounter GAN’s Knitted Stools.
