This perception, however, is just an optical effect, since the rug is made on a loom using very thick bicolor yarns, made with two wool threads of contrasting color braided in a spiral. This is the Line Volcano rug from the Nuances collection, a series made using an innovative type of felt that simulates a stone’s texture, reminiscent of granite. Developed by designer Patricia Urquiola in collaboration with GAN, this felt can be made in a variety of shades. This particular piece combines a large gray area with stripes in raw wool, orange beige, blue, and charcoal gray, highlighted by subtle seams that are hand-embroidered with viscose, as the only decorative detail. This is our Hidraulic rug, inspired by the patterns of modernist hydraulic floor tiles. Its faded surface looks like authentic old flooring that has worn away with time. It is made manually, knot by knot, with 100% virgin wool in a predominantly blue color scheme.

Because of the density of its design, this piece is especially suitable for neutral floors, where it stands out. An interesting twist, as hydraulic floors emerged precisely to imitate the flourishes in traditional rugs. Available in two sizes, this is the largest format. Its design features a bouquet of flowers that looks like a pixelated and blurred image. It is made with vivid colors: red, pink, green, blue and yellow, over a gray base.

This is the gray Bereber rug, a design made using hand-knotted techniques of Moroccan origin with 100% virgin New Zealand wool. Alternating patterns in close proximity make its surface look diffuse and imprecise. Additionally, its color is not always the same, showing small variations of hue.

This subtle randomness in its color is due to the fact that this rug is made with tie-dyed threads, a method in which textiles are tied when being colored, applied in this case to individual wool threads. As a result of this unique method of dyeing, the strands can have several colors and even color gradients. This is the Flowers Color rug from the Canevas collection, made by hand using a revised cross-stitching technique with wool yarns on perforated felt. Available in two sizes, this is the largest format. Its design features a bouquet of flowers that looks like a pixelated and blurred image. It is made with vivid colors: red, pink, green, blue and yellow, over a gray base.

This is the bedside version of the Flowers Color rug from the Canevas collection. It is handmade with wool yarns on a felted wool base, a contemporary revision of the cross-stitch technique. Its design recreates the blurred or pixelated image of a small bouquet of flowers, made with brightly colored threads in red, pink, blue, green and yellow.

The E White runner is one of the ten elongated pieces that make up the Bandas collection. Its design seems to arise at random on a grid. It is embroidered by hand and with crochet needles with turquoise and black wool. In addition, it is decorated with a striking orange trim.

Our Hidra rug is a great textile reinterpretation of certain hydraulic floor tiles, made from the alternation of two shapes in changing colors. Additionally, its surface presents two different pile heights, so that the design acquires a volume in certain areas, reinforcing the trace, as it is typical of monochromatic and textured hydraulic tiles.

Hidra is a design by Jose A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, made using the hand-tufted technique with 100% virgin wool. It is an original rug with irregular edges, since its outline follows the figures that represent the tiles. It is available in two sizes.

The Terra Waterkeyn rug features a surface that seems to change color with soft and disconcerting transitions. This is due to the use of jute threads, a material that can look very different depending on the angle from which it is observed.

The different shades of color offered by Waterkeyn are similar to the changing perceptions offered by grass fields depending on the amount and the angle of sunlight. Created by the internal design team at GAN, Waterkeyn is knotted by hand in a completely manual way. It is available in three sizes as well as in another version that features greenish-blue tones.

This is the Low gray pouf from our Ruff Pouf series, a low and large seat with a bulky adornment, like an Elizabethan collar. It is made with felt and can function as a seat in a living room or a dressing room. It can even be used as a footrest or occasional side table on which to resr a tray with drinks or a book.
